Pan Fried Radicchio with Lemon & Capers
Research shows that bitter foods, like radicchio, can improve gut motility and help ease digestion supporting better gut health.

- 1 large head of radicchio
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- Juice of half a large lemon
- 1 tbsp of capers, drained
- Salt and pepper to taste
Split the head of radicchio in half and pan fry in olive oil for 5 minutes on both sides
While frying, pour over the lemon, add the crushed garlic as well as the capers – wait until the radicchio softens and caramelises slightly.
Serve as the perfect side dish – or main if you’re after a purely bitter hit!
