Guacamole is a healthy and delicious snack that’s packed with nutrients. Avocado is a great source of healthy fats, fibre, and vitamins, while the lime juice and coriander add a refreshing flavor and some antioxidants. Additionally, garlic and cumin both have anti-inflammatory properties that can help support overall health.
- 2 ripe avocados
- 1 small red onion, diced
- 2 small tomatoes, diced
- 1 lime, juiced
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp ground cumin
- 1/4 tsp sea salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1 small pinch of mild chilli powder
- 1 handful of fresh coriander leaves, chopped
Cut the avocados in half lengthwise and remove the pit. Scoop out the avocado flesh and place it in a medium-sized mixing bowl.
Add the diced onion and diced tomato to the bowl.
Squeeze the lime juice over the mixture.
Add the garlic powder, ground cumin, sea salt, chilli and black pepper to the bowl.
Use a fork to mash the avocado and mix all the ingredients together until you have a smooth consistency.
Stir in the chopped coriander leaves.
Taste and adjust the seasoning as needed.
